On the morning of October 26, 2023, Dr. Carin Martina Troeltzsch, Managing Director of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, and Dr. Josef Wiebel, SVP Sales & Marketing Fertilizer of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, accompanied by Dr. Yanliang Guo, Managing Director of Shenzhen K+S Trading Co.,Ltd, and Dr. Yanshu Hao, visited the International Magnesium Institute (IMI) of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. During their visit, they were warmly welcomed by Shihua Wang, Director of Science and Technology Department, FAFU, Qingman Tong, Secretary of the College of Resources and Environment, Jian Lv, Deputy dean of College of Resources and Environment, and IMI teachers and students.

During the tour, they got a detailed understanding of the graduate students' learning environment, laboratory facilities, and the faculty's office area. After that, there was a two hour session for discussion and exchange of ideas. This session was chaired by Professor Jian Lv, Deputy Dean of the College of Resources and Environment, FAFU. Wang Shihua, Director of Science and Technology Department and Dr. Carin Martina Troeltzsch, Managing Director of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, delivered speeches respectively. Afterwards, Professor Chunjian Li, the Professor of China Agricultural University and executive deputy director of the IMI, introduced in detail the progress of the institute's work in scientific research, graduate training and social services since its establishment.

After listening to the report, Dr. Carin Martina Troeltzsch and Dr. Josef Wiebel had a full discussion and communication with the teachers of IMI, and showed a strong interest in the Pinghe Honey Pomelo Science and Technology Backyard (STB), and had a detailed communication with the students of STB. During the exchange meeting, the guests also tasted the pomelo and grape pomelo juice grown in the Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB, and gave high appreciation of its good quality.

 The half-day visit was successfully concluded in a pleasant atmosphere, laying a good foundation for the continued cooperation between the two sides in the future.
