The Fujian Provincial STB exchange Seminar was held at Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB. The seminar was chaired by Professor Xin Guo, Secretary General of the National Agricultural Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee and Executive Vice president of the Graduate School of China Agricultural University. Meiyu Wang, the project director of the Secretariat of the Teaching Advisory Committee, also participated in this seminar.

During the seminar, the heads of the graduate management departments of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Jimei University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Shanghai Ocean University, the institutions establishing the STB in Fujian province, delivered detailed reports on talent training, scientific research, social services, existing challenges, and plans for STB. Secretary General Xin Guo highly affirmed the achievements of our school and its experience in creating a Fujian STB education model with a focus on frontline engagement and service to agriculture and rural areas. Secretary General Xin Guo outlined three requirements for the construction of STB of all units: First, adherence to and thorough implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to the STB students of China Agricultural University. Second, it is necessary to carefully summarize the local characteristics of STB construction, sensibly sort out the existing problems, and continuously optimize the construction standards, system guarantees, enrollment plans, funding investments, and honor systems. The third is to strengthen management; the competent departments of STB construction units and the teachers and students stationed there should strictly participate in training as required by the Education Advisory Committee and ensure timely completion of upload logs, publicity, and reporting work.

After the meeting, the participants went to the Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB for field visits and attained in-depth explanations from experts and graduate students.
