On August 12, 2023, the 5th Resident Graduate Student Replacement Ceremony and STB Student Dean Appointment Ceremony took place at Fujian Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB, hosted by the Fujian Science and Technology Association and China Rural Special Technology Association.

Pinghe County Science and Technology Association Chairman Liyu Lin, Five Star Village Party branch secretary Jiancai Lai, Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB office director Guoyi Huang, Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB instructor Delian Ye attended the meeting, which was chaired by the fourth session of STB student Dean Mengjie Jin.

 The fifth Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB student Dean election speech competition was held before the beginning of the meeting. After the voting of the teachers and experts, Yedong Liu was finally selected as the student Dean of the fifth Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB.

The newly appointed deans expressed their commitment that they will uphold the fine tradition set by the senior students in their future tenure. They will make every single effort to maintain an advanced role of the STB, follow its spirit, contribute to strengthening its development, and continue to develop based on the existing STB.

The leaders and teachers have high expectations for the new class of resident graduate students of STB. They encouraged them to carry on the past achievements, continue to forge ahead, and uphold the spirit of the STB dedication to agriculture. They encouraged the students to do a good job at STB, consider the concerns of the farmers community, address their urgent needs, and elevate the STB to a higher level.
