On the morning of June 29, the inauguration ceremony of the Innovation-driven service station of the National Institute was held at Zhangzhou Pinghe East Lake Agricultural Products Co., LTD. Zheng Yanshan, Deputy Secretary of Pinghe County Party Committee, presided over the event. Bingsheng Ke (chairman of China Rural Special Technology Association), Jianhua Zhang (Vice Chairman of the China Rural Special Technical Association), Cheng Wang (Deputy Director of China Rural Special Technology Service Center, Secretary-General of China Rural Special Technology Association), Ruijian Wu (Chairman of Fujian Rural Special Technical Association, Vice chairman of China Rural Special Technology Association) jointly unveiled the Innovation-Driven Service Station of Zhangzhou Pinghe East Lake Agricultural Products Co., LTD., affiliated with China Rural Special Technology Association.

The Innovation-Driven Service Station of the National Institute is an important platform to promote joint research among industry, universities, and research institutions, fostering talent development and sharing innovation outcomes. This station was established in May 2022 by collaborative efforts of the China Rural Special Technology Association and Zhangzhou Pinghe East Lake Agricultural Products Co., LTD.

Relying on the citrus Special Committee of the China Rural Special Technology Association and Pinghe Pomelo STB, the research has been focused on precise water and fertilizer management in large-scale farms, the establishment of fruit quality standards, and the integration of field management with fruit quality to promote the sustainable and high-value development of the entire pomelo industry chain.
