On November 29, 2023, Dongdong He, a doctoral candidate of the International Magnesium Institute, passed the graduation defense of his thesis "The distribution characteristics of exchangeable magnesium in soil and the quality and efficiency of magnesium fertilizer on main crops in China ", and became the first doctoral candidate to graduate from the IMI. His academic advisor was Academician Zhang Fusuo and Associate Professor Wu Liangquan.
