On September 17, 2023, the main National Science Popularization Day event in Fujian Province and Fuzhou home event was held at Fujian Grand Theatre and Wuyi Square. The event was jointly organized by 21 departments, including the Fujian Science and Technology Association, the Publicity Department of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, the Network Information Office of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, and the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government. The theme was "Improving the scientific literacy for all, empowering self-resilence in science and technology". Pinghe Honey Pomelo STB actively participated in this science popularization event, showcasing their achievement in science and technology research and science popularization services.

 Yan Zhang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Minister of Publicity, Guowang Zhang, Vice Chairman of the Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and other leaders visited the exhibition booth of Pinghe STB. They listened to the presentation made by teacher Zhang Jiangzhou and STB Dean Liu Yedong, about how the graduate students carried out science and technology innovation, science popularization, and the resulting effects, and the leaders fully affirmed the work and achievements of the STB. They encouraged students to adhere to the STB model, bring scientific and technological achievements to more farmers, benefit more people, and contribute to rural revitalization.
