On October 27, 2024, Professor Li Yong from Huazhong Agricultural University visited the International Magnesium Nutrition Institute (IMI) of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University.

During the visit, Professor Li Yong delivered an informative academic report titled “Experience and Lessons of National Natural Science Foundation General Program and Youth Program” to the faculty and students of IMI. In the report, Professor Li Yong provided a detailed explanation and introduction, mainly from three aspects: an overview of national fund funding, how to write applications, and common problems. The IMI teachers and graduate students had a warm academic exchange and discussion with Professor Li, and they gained valuable insights from the discussion.
